Cool. I myself don't write WinForms apps anymore. I typically do web and occasionally WPF.

I'm most interested in coding, navigation, debugging and all conveniences surrounding them. I look forward to taking Naja for a test drive in the future.

Have you played around to see if Cobra works w/ Silverlight? I'd be interested in exploring hooking up a designer for that, if it would work on the cobra backend (but haven't tried).

Initial Release of Naja v0.1 has been made. Expect bugs. But I still believe worth a try :-)

For me it's do not work. Just Windows message about termination App.

Can you tell me what kind of error you get? Or if something shows up in the Windows Events log.

I will be able to update the app within a week or so, and can add some application hooks, but won't be able to grab much time until then.

Hi Suliman,

Just wanted to mention that I posted a warning about Windows 7 x 64 as likely not to work, so that hopefully spare others until the issue is resolved.

There have been similar problems with the Cobra compiler itself, which is a .NET app. Some of the tips at Troubleshooting may help.

Hey Sean,

Grabed your IDE exe to see what you released.
my operating system is win7 ultimate 32-bit.
it gives unhandled exceptions, when one opens a new file and
copies the allready existing files text into it, Color for tokens does not appear.
and when one wants to save, unhandled exception occurs which wants to terminate
the application. wanted to report this matter to you. i know it is utterly alpha yet ;)

Now I tried to run IDE on my home PC. Win7 x64 sp1. And it's run without problems. When I would have access to my work PC I will try run IDE there and grab logs there.

I tried to add new file to project and compile it and get exception:
