somehow the working directory is set to the notepad++ directory. this is where i needed to put the dll to make it working.

Btw if you use "cobra -v ..." then it will print the current directory for you, in case you need that in the future.

ehm.. how do i change the current directory? shouldnt cobra always use the directory of the sourcecode as current directory?

Cobra uses whatever your current directory is when you launch it. Also, you could give it multiple source files in different directories which blurs the concept of using the directory of the source files.

Most editors will let you set the initial directory in some way for the external commands you set up. Either as an option in a dialog or perhaps as a command such as "cd ${BASEDIR}; ...". Does notepad++? It seems people would have needed this before.

If not, and there is a BASEDIR type variable available, we could add a -cd command option to Cobra.
