Hey hey, neato! Here's a screenshot of what's in the pipeline for the MonoDevelop add-in: Tooltips!

Special thanks to torial for doing some of the early research on this one. Still got a lot of cleanup to do so that the tooltips used by code-completion and those from mouse-over reuse more of the same string creation code, but it's coming along. I'm having some difficulty getting types that inherit from Cobra.Compiler.PrimitiveType (like IntType, etc.) to give me their names for some reason. More digging required.
