Prior to self-hosting

A cursory glance at the source code and a few revisions leads me to believe that Cobra has been self-hosted for a while. When was the last version where it wasn't, and is that version still available somewhere?

I'm curious why you want it? Our current version is about 1000x more mature.

I'm interested in language development (a bit of a neophyte in the area), and thought it would be informative as the self-hosting transition is a major milestone.
