WANTED: IDE Support for SharpDevelop

Or if you take off with this and you don't want to use that bitbucket project, use whatever you like.
I'm working on the compiler including refinements, patch applications, fixes and other back-ends. As with most language communities, the compiler person <> the IDE person <> the evangelist. There's too much work to do all three. I hope one or more people can help with this. It will help grow our community and give us another nice tool to bring into the mix.
Sincerely yours,
Chuck

Re: May 2009 Help Wanted
I contacted someone directly to see if they were interested in spearheading this. Their reply included:
Well I can understand since I have similar feelings. And Cobra has some features that mitigate the lack of an IDE like:
-- property and method name suggestions for a name that cannot be found
-- trace statement for debugging
-- assert, require, ensure and invariant to catch errors early
-- compile-time nil tracking to reduce nil-reference-exceptions
-- built-in unit tests for quality control
So for now, fire up your fav text editor and enjoy.
Personally I'm happy enough with the productivity from the language itself and a competent editing environment... similar to some of the discussions about why an IDE isnt a neccessity for python development...
