I have no previous programming experience. But I really like to learn programming.
But I don't want to start from BASIC, then C, then C++, then Java, then C#, then PHP, ...
I just want to learn one programming language and one language only.
I really like Chuck's Cobra, and I think it is the best computer language ever created.
But there is no Cobra tutorials for beginner. What should I do ?

Re: I want to learn programming
I don't have time to write a tutorial for non-programmers right now, although anyone in the community is welcome to contribute one if they have the inclination. But I could offer to start another discussion forum around this topic where we could answer your questions as you have them. We could call it "First Time Programmers".
The discussions from that would then be available for subsequent first time programmers to read through. They could also provide raw material for the eventual tutorial.
If you're interested in that let me know.
If not then your best path is probably to learn Python and then Cobra which is two languages, but far fewer than the "BASIC, C, C++, Java, C#, PHP" path you want to avoid.
