Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
I'm able to install on Win7 32-bit, although I have Visual Studio 2008 / .NET 3.5 installed. I did have a compilation error if I passed in "-net4" but that is now fixed and checked in.
Also, I fixed the NullReferenceException you reported and improved the output. This won't resolve the problem, but it will give more useful information. Please try again, both with and without passing "-net4".
Let me know what happens.

Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
hey Charles
when doing bin\install-from-workspace -net4 (it fails)
when doing bin\install-from-workspace (it succeedes)
well i dont need to do -net4 to get it .net4 compilant
i can use the ildasm/ilasm instead because atleast i
have the compiler now.
Thanking_You

Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
Can you provide the output for the -net4 failure? I would like it to work for everyone.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
hey Charles
i am sorry i cant do that because i just comipled cobra succesfully with -net4 option
i think it might have something to do with that i reinstalled Net4Tools from Win7SDkNet4
or most unlikely that i reinstalled the Grub for Ubuntu. i think Net4Tools did it.
on side note( My ramblings )
for some reason i got inclined to test the linux distros a while back
to see what is happening there so i installed fedora and ubuntu and opensuse all latest
and fedora and ubuntu impressed me fairly they are catching up to windows graphical user interface
but in that i lost my windows installation or i thought i lost with that all the work i did on
intellisense and ide is also lost i wish i knew Grub4Dos before reinstalling windows.
if i was a professional i would be in great trouble now!. as i read you somewhere that it is boring
to revisit old code/realestate. in this case for me it is more of threatning actually.well enough of it.

Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
Sorry to hear you lost your code. I wondered why you had gotten quiet about IDE topics.
Two things you can do in the future:
* Use something like Dropbox either directly or as a backup target. Now if your whole system melts, you still have your files because they are off-site.
* Use something like Bitbucket to host your code.

Re: cobra not getting compiled from latest source
hey Charles
Got your suggestion. Thanks for that. it is not that i didnt make the backup
before trying linux i copied everything on to a External Disk. but still as the
luck would have it copying data from many sources to one location got it currupted
some or how for which there might be a logical explanation but any way what
is done is done.
